Catalytic and non-catalytic ceramic candle filters
Functions of Ceramic Candle Technology
By using catalytic or non-catalytic ceramic filters, we can meet regulatory emission limits now and in the future.
This system works like a standard dry reduction filter. However, it provides higher application flexibility as it resists temperatures up to 450 °C (catalytic version) and 1000 °C (non-catalytic version).
Besides removing dust, these filters can reduce NOx, SOx, and other acid gases, as well as dioxins and VOCs, under specific conditions. This is achieved using a single device through appropriate injections of reagents and subsequent reactions on catalysts embedded in the ceramic candle matrices.
The system’s modular design helps adapt to future changes in the operating process and operate and service the plant in a flexible way for the benefit of the end user.
